Who are you? How would you describe yourself?

Macy: “That's a good question, one I've been trying to answer for a long time. I'm a different person at different times I guess. Before COVID I was an irresponsible musician with questionable friends and unrealistic goals. When COVID happened, I had time to think about who I was more. I am a musician, a composer, an artist, a visionary, a producer, a fashionista, a scientist, an engineer, and I have issues with authority.”

How is life different than what you expected it to be 5 years ago?

Macy: “Five years ago, I had no plans for the future, I was only interested in graphic design as far as careers go, I was insecure, immature, stupid, and weak. I never would have imagined leading a robotics team, playing in a rock band, becoming a recording artist, walking up on a stage not knowing what was going to happen, being an extra in multiple shows and films, questioning and reevaluating everything I thought I knew and believed about life, the universe, sexuality, and my own identity. Five years ago, I was fairly conservative, now I despise conservative ideology altogether. I live in constant fear that my conservative mother will discover just how much I've changed and departed from my upbringing.”
